Question Three - Do you use your car mostly for private use?

Novated leases are perfect for employees who use their car mainly for their own purpose like, going shopping, picking up the kids from school, going on a driving holiday, and driving to work.

Driving your car to and from your regular workplace everyday is considered private use by the Australian Taxation Office.

For sales representatives and trades people who mainly use their car for work, a novated lease may not be the best option.

Question Four - Does your employer offer a salary packaging program?

A novated lease requires a Novation Agreement between you, your employer and nlc.
