Salary Sacrificing

As part of your total income package, you can choose to receive less money as cash (salary or wages) and instead receive another benefit*. This is called Salary Sacrificing.

In consultation with you, we work out how much salary you will need to sacrifice towards the cost of running a fully maintained car. Each pay cycle, a fixed amount will be deducted from your salary. Your salary sacrifice may contain a provision for each or some of the following car expenses:

• Monthly lease rental
• Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT)
• Car insurance
• Registration
• Fuel and oil
• Maintenance and tyres
• Car wash
• Roadside Assist

Your Salary Sacrifice can be adjusted if your circumstances change. For example, if your travel patterns change and you begin to use more fuel we can increase your fuel provision.

Fuel and Maintenance

nlc will provide you with a fuel or nlc fuel & maintenance card to use when purchasing goods and services for your car.

Each quarter we will provide you with a Vehicle Expense Report to allow you to track your car's operating expenses. By January 2004, you will be able to access this report on this site.
